Stuart M. Elman

Together with Dr. Sheldon Elman, Stuart co-founded Persistence Capital Partners (PCP) in 2008. Prior to co-founding PCP, Stuart spent nine years at Medisys Health Group (one of Canada’s leading providers of preventative health services) initially as CFO, and later as President, where he was instrumental in raising capital and leading the company’s significant organic and M&A-driven growth. He led Medisys’ IPO on the Toronto Stock Exchange in 2002 and its going-private transaction and acquisition by PCP in 2008.

Stuart began his career at Trader Classified Media, then the world’s largest classified advertising group, where his responsibilities included strategic planning, business development and M&A. He is a member of the Young Presidents Organization and is a trustee of the Fraser Institute.

Stuart earned an HBA with Honours from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western in London, Ontario.
